Commencing undergraduate students
The following information is for students starting an undergraduate degree who have received an offer for a place in one of our courses.
Accepting your offer and enrolling at UTS
Before you start your course, you will need to accept your offer and register online for an enrolment session with UTS, and then come in to enrol in-person.
To accept your offer and register for enrolment, follow the steps on the Start at UTS website.
Important information for students commencing undergraduate courses
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Arts in International Studies
- Bachelor of Midwifery
The New South Wales Department of Health has implemented policies and procedures whereby all health care workers, including nursing and midwifery students who undertake clinical placements, must comply with certain rules and regulations. Please ensure that you meet all the requirements.
You will be required to complete forms regarding these regulations for the University records on your allocated Enrolment Day. Even if you have already completed these forms for your current place of employment, you MUST also complete them for the University.
Uniforms and instruments - available for purchase at enrolment
You are required to wear the UTS nursing or midwifery student uniform and have basic clinical instruments while on clinical placement. Suppliers will be present at enrolment to take orders.
