Submitting your thesis

On the completion of your studies you are required to submit your thesis for examination. Before you submit the thesis you will need to read through the requirements for submission to ensure that you have met the requirements outlined.

Doctoral students are also required to make an oral presentation of their research in the six months prior to submission.

Note: that candidates are required to give two months notice before submission of the thesis for examination.

Timeline for submission for examination:

Begin preparing for final presentation (doctoral students only).

  • 2 months prior to EWS
Complete and submit Intention to Submit (PDF, 119kB) form.

  • 2 months prior to EWS
Nomination and approval of examiners (PDF, 201kB) (supervisors to do)

The RAO or delegate then communicates the results with the students’ supervisors, who inform the student of the outcome.
