What are the Faculty Research Weeks?
These weeks are designed to facilitate a number of important requirements for the Faculty's research students and to provide an opportunity for research students, supervisors, staff and invited guests to interact in formal and informal settings.
During each of the research weeks, subject sessions are taught in intensive workshops for the Masters (Hons) ad Professional Doctorate Programs (see below).
Also included are the Graduate Workshops, in which research students make a presentation of their work to date and outline the next phase/s of their research.
Doctoral and Masters assessments can also be held during this week.
Presentations in the form of plenary sessions by invited guests from areas such as the government, health services, other universities and the Faculty are also a part of the Faculty Research Weeks.
Who has to attend the Faculty Research Weeks?
EVERYONE! It is expected that all research students who are not on leave of absence or under examination attend. Supervisors of current research students are also expected to attend.
