Discover the Midwife in U @UTS
Discover Midwifery @UTS is an interactive information session designed specially for people who are interested in midwifery as a career.
What can I expect on the night?
You'll meet current students and an academic and hear about the UTS Bachelor of Midwifery and their experiences from study to work and further career opportunities.
The night will start with an interactive panel discussion followed by an informal and hands on tour of UTS’ state-of-the-art clinical facilities. With a current student and teacher leading session, you'll find out exactly what it's like to study at UTS.
Who can attend?
Anyone considering career in midwifery will benefit from attending the session - whether you're in high school or looking for a change in career.
Parents, partners and friends are more than welcome to join you.
When are the sessions run?
2013 sessions will be held at the City campus.
Sessions that we currently have planned are listed below.
- Tuesday 18 June - City - 5:45pm – 7.00pm
- Wednesday 3 July - City - 5.45pm – 7.00pm
How can I register to attend?
Easy - just fill in our online booking form.
Once we receive your form, we'll be in touch to remind you when the date is coming up, and other details like where to meet.

If you'd like us to send your school posters and/or postcards for this session, please email us and let us know how many you would like of each. We can also email you soft copy PDFs of the promotional material for inclusion in school newsletters (for example).
This information session can also be run for school/TAFE groups at a time and date that suits you. The session can be tailored to the needs of the group and held either on campus at UTS or at your institution. Simply email us to make an enquiry or find out more.
