The Centre for Midwifery, Child and Family Health is part of an innovative Faculty, which prepares graduates for the contemporary health care environment. We are the first university in NSW to commence a Bachelor of Midwifery degree and our Graduate Diploma in Midwifery course is highly acclaimed. We also have a Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health Nursing in collaboration with Tresillian Family Care Centres.
This website provides information about our goals and mission, our current research projects and consultancies and upcoming seminars, short courses and workshops.
The Centre for Midwifery, Child and Family Health has a strong emphasis on preparing leaders in midwifery through research degrees. We support students undertaking PhD, Professional Doctorates and Honours (Bachelor and Master) degrees and provide ongoing supervision and advice. Our research degrees and programs of research help develop the knowledge and practice understandings that underpin our courses. More information about our current research students can be found on this website.
If you are simply browsing our website or literature I hope you found it helpful and we encourage you to contact us and get to know us better.
