Collaborative links
Research collaborations build capacity by bringing the best expertise to address complex issues and by sharing skills and resources. The CHSM works closely with similar centres in Australia and around the world to develop a robust collaborative global network of researchers. These relationships further enhance the quality of research outputs through the exchange of draft research proposals, the development of collaborative research programs and the presentation of cross-centre symposia at international conferences. The Centre has developed research linkages with
- The Sax Institute
- Centre for Clinical Governance Research in Health (University of NSW)
- Centre for Health Informatics (UNSW)
- Research Centre for Clinical Practice Innovation (Griffith University, Queensland)
- Centre for Clinical Nursing (Royal Brisbane Hospital and Queensland University of Technology)

- Nursing Health Services Research Unit (University of Toronto, Canada)
- Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research (The University of Melbourne, Victoria)
- Centre for Midwifery and Family Health (UTS)

As well as working with other universities and research centres, the Centre actively works with partners in the public and private sector on research and consulting projects.
