SimTecT 2008 Healthcare Simulation Conference
On the organising committee of the SimTecT 2008 Healthcare Simulation Conference are Associate Dean Teaching and Learning Professor Denise Dignam and Michelle Kelly. UTS has been well represented at past SimTecT Conferences, with members on the organising committees and speakers every year from 2005 to 2008.

Australian Society on Simulation in Healthcare
The Australain Society on Simulation in Healthcare was formed in 2004 to further the intorduction of simulation into healthcare in Australia. UTS is represented by Michelle Kelly, who was a founding member of the Society, on the Interim Steering Committee.

Sydney Medical Simulation Centre
UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health contributed funds to the Sydney Medical Simulation Centre's purchase of a Harvey Cardiology Patient Simulator. UTS lecturer Tom Buckley developed advanced nursing courses at the Centre and is a Visiting Faculty member.

Simulation Industry Association of Australia
UTS: Nursing, Midwifery and Health is an associate member of the Australian Society for Simulation in Healthcare, which is a chapter of the Simulation Industry Association of Australia.
