Clinical practice laboratories
Students learn and practice most of their basic clinical and patient assessment skills in the Faculty's clinical practice laboratories. There are six clinical labs at the Kuring-gai campus and three at the City campus.

These labs are simulated hospital wards, fully equipped with
- patient beds
- electronic treatment beds
- a range of full and part body body manikins including
- a range of task trainers for practising
- IV cannulation and therapy
- vascular access
- wound care
- CPR, defibrillation with AEDs airway skills and oxygenation
- Heart rhythm (ECG) simulators
- 12 lead ECG machines and trainers
- nasogastric tube and tracheostomy care
- urinary catheterisation
- patient assessment equipment
- IV infusion equipment
- nurses stations
- wall mounted oxygen and suction outlets
- adjoining scrub rooms
- adjoining treatment rooms
- a range of texts and audiovisual resources
